Let’s keep it going and bring in new members! \nPlease welcome Veterans Administration Certified Service Officer Lynn Hawkins to present an update on veteran benefits and claims processing procedures. Service Officer Hawkins is based at the Lynchburg American Legion Post 16 and is our Service Officer of record. Her 20+ years of experience has been extremely helpful to many veterans\, including a number of our own.\nBedford Centerfest is Saturday\, September 19. We are staffing an information booth at town center. Volunteers are needed for two (2) hour shifts starting at 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Please call 540.875.9014 if you can help. In addition\, we are selling raffle tickets as a Veterans Benefit Fundraiser jointly conducted by our post and the Bedford VFW Post 2157.\n\nThe prizes include : \n\nWinchester Super X pump 12 ga.\nSavage Axis Bolt .270\nRuger American Ranch bolt 6.5 Grendel\n\nRaffle prize drawing will be held on November 7 at 1000 at the Bedford Moose Lodge Veterans Breakfast. \n  \n\nOur Ladies Auxiliary is in danger of losing its charter due to lack of membership. This needs to be addressed.
